About the Festival

We exist to see denominational differences and barriers collapse as we worship and pray together creating an atmosphere where people can experience and connect with their God!

We envision a unified body of believers worshiping and praying together under one banner “Jesus Christ”. An atmosphere of encountering God that drives out all hindrances over a city and region. Hands lifted high and hearts bowed in humble worship as people are healed, delivered, and set free. A place where there is an awareness of Gods presence and an awe of the Living God, emptied of self-existence and left in adoration for the one who bought us with His life! O God let Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven!

History (The First Great Tabernacle)

In early February of 1916, The congregations of five Batavia churches were led to erect a temporary tabernacle on the Brisbane property on Jefferson Avenue for revival services. The planned tabernacle would be an imposing structure with a frontage of 90 ft. and a depth of 130 ft, 14 entrances, and even 65 incandescent light bulbs so that ministry could continue at night.

The men of Batavia were urged to volunteer to help construct the tabernacle, and many did, with over 1000 volunteers completing the project in 2-days using their own tools. Because of all the help, the labor cost amounted to less than $140.

Over 3,500 men, women, and children showed up to attend the three services on the first day of the revival services, with at least 800 dedicating their life to Christ!

Many of these were filled with great joy. Spontaneous utterances were reported among shouts of “Amen.” They included exclamations such as: “”I’m glad I’m back after twenty years of wandering,” “Praise the Lord, oh my soul,” and “Bless the Lord for this tabernacle!”
